The MFA hosts the Manitoba Envirothon, the country’s leading environmental education competition. We host over 250 high school students and 100 teacher advisors at our annual Regional and Provincial competitions. We’re shaping and nurturing tomorrow’s environmental innovators

Our Forest Centres offer in-forest educational experiences for students of all ages, and for teachers wishing to extend their knowledge of our most interconnected resource.
∙ Leader in Landowner Stewardship Programs
The MFA’s Private Land Resource Planning Program educates, assists, and encourages landowners with the stewardship of their woodlots. Woodlot management plans help landowners take the management of their land into their own hands, enabling them to enhance the environmental and economic well-being of their woodlots.
∙ Provider of high quality seedlings
The MFA works with nurseries across the Province to bring you viable seedlings to beautify your surroundings while enhancing the impact every single new tree can have on the environment.
